Company History
I had my first business at 5 years
old. Door to door sales. I made pot
holders! If a mom told me, “Sorry,
honey, you don’t have any that
match my kitchen colors”, I’d look
around. Then I’d be back within the
week with potholders made just to
match their kitchen. I guess I’d
found my niche.
I started my consulting business
while working as a HR consultant
and getting a MBA. I already had a
HR consulting job working in the
financial services industry. I worked
weekends, vacations, personal days
and holidays for 11 years to make
up the time I was away from my
regular job to make the transition to
my own business. When I had
enough clients, I made the leap
relatively smoothly and I'm
continuing to leap today!
Also, I’m proud to say that I get the
majority of my work from word of
mouth! I've known most of my clients
an average of 7 years.

President of her own HR Consulting
firm. She has over 15 years human
resource and training experience in a
variety of professional fields,
including retail, distribution,
architectural, engineering, consulting,
manufacturing (union) and both profit
and non-profit company structures.
She has consulted with employers on
their problems and trained managers
and employees for over 7 years,
enjoying traveling the country
extensively, meeting and training
employees from all types of
businesses.
In addition to a MBA, Teri has a
Master’s degree in Human Resource
Development with a specialization in
Conflict Management. She was
certified by the State of Indiana in
mediation skills, is qualified as a
Myers-Briggs practitioner and holds
the SHRM certification of a Senior
Professional in Human Resources
(SPHR). She is a national member of
the Society for Human Resources
Management (SHRM) and
WorldatWork. Currently she is
working on her Certified
Compensation Professional
Certification (CCP).
